March 15th - Easy Enough

Those bicycles would look really cute on like a pair of little boy’s boxers. Austin’s looking over my shoulder as I draw.

Hm. I say. You’re right, that would be cute. I’ve always toyed with the idea of being a print designer.

Well, have you ever tried?

I think about this for a second. No, I guess not. I don’t even know how I’d get started. I know that I have a tendency of expecting things to fall into my lap. If I draw enough cute patterns and the right print-designer-person sees, they’ll snatch me up without a second thought, begging me to draw bicycle patterns for little boys’ boxers.

Austin’s giving Roscoe’s ears a good scratch. Just, like, design it for yourself, throw the pattern on some boxers, pop it on your website, boom. You’ve gotten started.

He’s right. I know he’s right. When you say it that way, it sounds pretty simple, doesn’t it.

Maybe tomorrow I’ll photoshop some patterns on some boxers. Maybe I’ll toss in a couple t-shirt designs. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll put them on my site just in case the right person sees.
