April 13 - Retail Therapy

Today I got myself an Apple watch. It’s a used series 3 in perfect condition… and wow, I could not be much happier. I know I’m a bit late to the bandwagon, but hey. It’s the little things.

This week has been pretty emotionally tough and it’s nice to have gotten myself some sort of small reward. And it’s a reward that will end up benefiting me in the long run - I definitely don’t stand enough or sleep on a solid enough schedule, and I’m thinking this will help. Weirdly the part I’m the most excited about, though, is being able to track my heart rate. My goal is to actually understand and care about what they tell me about my heart rate the next time I go to the doctors. Up until now, I hate to admit, I mostly nod and tune it out.

Retail therapy wasn’t a new clothing haul like it typically has been in the past for me, but it’s retail therapy just the same.

& without further ado… here’s a tattoo design I’ve been working on for a client & a piece made from it!
